We held our first Liberal Arts Day this school year. Today’s high school students dressed in relaxed casual wear, aiming to generate free thinking. The first-year junior high school students learned basic programming, the second-year students practiced drama, and the third-year students explored the theme of the school trip to Australia scheduled for November. The first-year high school students had an orientation session, where they experienced the liberal arts firsthand and were given guidance. The goal of this study is to acquire the three skills of “questioning,” “willpower,” and “composition. I am filled with anticipation that our professional and renowned instructors will continue to encourage and deepen our learning.

今年度初のリベラルアーツデーを実施しました。今日の高校生の服装は、自由な考え方を生むことも意識し、リラックスした私服です。

学習内容として、中学1年生はプログラミングの基本を学び、2年生は演劇練習で豊かな発想と新たな表現力をつけているように感じました。中学3年は11月に予定しているオーストラリア修学旅行をテーマに探求学習を実施しました。
今回、特に高校1年は初めてということでオリエンテーションを行い、社会課題に取り組む「未来講座」、選択できる「17のゼミ」、ただ音楽を聴くだけでなく理論、時代背景、作家の人生ストーリーに迫る「音楽教養」からなるリベラルアーツを実際に体験しながらのガイダンスとなりました。

この学習では、3つの力「疑問力」、「意思力」、「構成力」を習得することを目標としています。そのための3条件、①積極的にどんどん発言しよう　②どんな意見も大歓迎　③人の意見は絶対に否定しない、が学びに向かう力となります。

今後もプロフェッショナルな著名講師陣が、私たちの学びを後押しし深めてくれるものと期待感に満ち溢れています。
