Our kimono club volunteered and took pictures with over 1,000 tourists at Himeji Castle. They did a great job, not only as princesses, but also as photographers. When I visited to say thank you, I saw the students performing fantastically well, and offering great hospitality to the visitors. I felt they really matured over the two days they spent volunteering. This was a  rare opportunity for the students to be involved in raising the profile and image of Himeji city, and to help the community as well. 

副校長の長谷川です。2週にわたり和装部が活躍し、のべ約1000人の姫路城登郭観光客の皆さんと写真を撮らせていただきました。千姫となって写真に納まる生徒だけでなく、案内係・撮影係となり活躍する姿が立派でした。

お礼のご挨拶にと現場を訪問させていただいた昨日26日（日）14時30分からの撮影会では、丁寧におもてなしをしながら手際よく活動する和装部生徒たちがいました。2日間のボランティアで成長した様子が十二分に伺えました。

この度はご縁あって姫路市観光振興に役立ってくれました。今後も本校建学の精神、「地域社会の要求に応え・・・」を様々な場面で具現化していきたいと思います。
