A career path lecture for third-year students was held, with lectures titled “Choosing a Faculty or Department” and “Let’s Imagine What It Would Be Like to Work”. The lecturer talked about the way of thinking and attitude necessary for a working adult, and the words “It is difficult to change your personality, but you can change your way of thinking” left a strong impression on the students. Other topics such as factors that hinder personal growth and the true meaning of work-life balance resonated with us staff members as well.

昨日の2年生に引き続いて3年生進路講演会を実施しました。さすがに身近で現実的な内容の話となりました。

初めに甲子園大学栄養学部フードデザイン学科より盛本浩二教授からは「学部・学科選択」について、続いて塩田温泉「夢乃井」より採用担当の森脇様からは「働く姿をイメージしよう」というタイトルで講義を受けました。

特に、森脇様は社会人に必要な考え方や心構えについてお話をいただきました。内容は、「良いサービスというのは『信用×情報×試行錯誤』という式によって計算でき、そのサービスを提供できる人が、すなわち社会人として成功している人と言えるのでは」と説明されました。また、「自分の性格はなかなか変えられないが、考え方は変えられる」という言葉が非常に印象に残りました。

その他、自身の成長を阻む要因についてやワークライフバランスの本当に意味するところについてなど、私たち職員の胸にも響くお話でした。
